Dave and family live in suburban northwest Houston (Harris County) Texas. Wife Debbie is a tennis aficionada and plays in several ladies leagues out of Raveneaux Country Club, which is located very near former Compaq World Headquarters – now HP. Debbie also enjoys singing in the choir at the local john Wesley United Methodist Church. Son, Dave, Jr., has graduated from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas, and has extensive experience in the recreational powerboat business and management of retail car and truck dealership operations. Critters" include puppy, "Winter Star Abby" – AKC white German Shepherd - see pic to left - and, "Gretchen" – Alaskan Husky / German Shepherd mix. Dave, Sr.'s, hobbies are working-training with Winter Star Abby (who trains who?); tennis; going to the gym; international travel; formerly volunteered at the local senior high school (Cypress Creek H.S.) as a Booster Club officer -- and public announcer -- for all-sports activities and for the football program. Dave has been involved as a concerned parent -- as well as a local businessman -- in the affairs of one area school district, and has been invited to address the Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District Board of Education as a real estate expert. That's leadership in action. Dave's M.B.A. in International Business was earned in 1975; earlier, Dave earned a B.S. in Business Administration (majors: Finance and Marketing). In connection with overseas assignments in the oil patch, Dave became conversationally and operationally fluent in Portuguese and Spanish. Clients have praised Dave's effective style of negotiation.
